Looks better than my car at $5388 difference :P

Why not test drive it if your interested.

If you have a trusted mechanic, you could ask him to check the technical aspect for you too.

hmmm.... hard to judge from the cover. u shud have a test drive first and have a look at the interior. It is better if u know the previous driver, at least u know how he drive or how well he take care of the car.

As for me, i will not go for second hand car unless i know the driver.

What is ur budget by the way?

Can you lure girls into that car or not? buy car must have a "future value" (wife-seeking)

If not, not worth it :D

ask for discount la.. 18,888 abit mahal...

got modify engin or not? modify chassis not counted.. tat is bonus nia... if got modify engin what engin did he change? if no, then ask for more discount... tat car is worth around 17k nia.

if i not mistaken no civic production in 1998. tat car should be 1996/4 one. old stock!

anyway a friend of mine bought the same model for around 16k nia..tat was last year..

better check the green card before buy.. see chassis and engine number same or not..later jpj tahan susah de..try check polis record for the car plate number also.. if got accident then 1/2 price liaw :) no need say.. coz the chassis interigy already broken, the car may break in half when u driving...

also who goin to pay for puspakom test??? if u pay then diskount some more lo.

hahaa... u all gave very good advice...

RM18,888?? If everything ok, start off with RM11K... be firm to pull out if can't get at RM13K or RM14K...

but with that kind of car modification, i think the current driver of that car would have done some, if not much, internal injuries to it...

there are pics of the interior,
ori but old.. if i'm really bored, may be i'll go over for a test drive..

based on your comments..
doesnt sound good.. haha..
somehow, i need to agree..
it is a risk to take up second hand car.. esp.. is 10+ yrs old..
might cost alot on the maintenance later on..

budget not much ler...
if second hand car.. around 20k
if new car.. around 40k
wat i have in mind would be saga..

lure girls.. hehe.. that's true oso..
getting new car would have better chance than old one..
wat more to say the antic i'm having now..

this EG8 is 93 actually
about the engine.. no idea at all..
but it looks good in the pics..
i'll post it up later on..
green card.. i'll take a look if i get there to test drive..

hey wat is the procedure to do in getting second hand car..
is there fees? or inspection fees?
other unseen fees ? transfer fees ?
puspakom test.. have to pay or not ? do give me some tips .. haha..

some how i think i might not go for it.. it seems that it have not much value after getting over.. then i might stuck myself in deep shit ..

If you follow Shykull's suggestion before purchasing the car that would help a lot.

But...

Judging by the pics of the engine and interior, it looks original without any modification at all.

And it's all cosmetic. At first glance with the spoiler and air intake, I thought the car will go 0 to 100 in 6 seconds or less. What a faggot car. All brawn but no brains.

Please don't buy it. You may have a high chances of attracting the mammal of your choice, but once it moves, the passenger will probably realize it and attempt to jump out of a moving car. *think Quantum of Solace*

When I purchase my second hand car, the procedure is pretty simple.

1. I give him my photocopy IC.
2. I give him money (very important step).
3. He give me car with road tax, insurance, and JPJ card.
4. I drive car home.

Additionally, most dealer price their car without insurance, road tax, and Puspakom test.

I paid a deposit for the Puspakom test before making the full payment.

With 20K budget for second hand car, you could buy my toyota for 10K and pimp it out, or not :)

if u wanna go test drive it.. i intro a friend to u.. he is very good with cars.. can hear what is wrong with the car by the sound it makes.

as for fees.. i know u need to do puspakom test..which will cost money.. if the car fail puspakom... need bribe some more... then the other fees are insurance...and jpj bribe to make the process faster.

but see your pref la.. as for me.. i might buy it if its 11k ~13k. depending on engine condition. if engine needd overhaul.. then the i would only buy it if its 9k ~ 10k

one thing to remember.. alloy rims...spoilers...bodykits... I.C.E. (In Car Entertainment).. dun add to the cost of the car.. its just added bonus. Like when you buy from supermarket "Buy 1 Free 1" offer.

after considering the point of view by you ppl.. is not worth it..

1st hand 40k
thanks !!

1st hand car ard ur budget is the BLM Saga.

my advise, dun buy it if u can spare extra money... better buy 2nd hand car 10~15k and refurbish it. more worth it.
